Project Intent Lana Ung
A long street facade with protruding classroom boxes acts like billboard for the building to intrigue people. The main circulation thoroughfare divides the site horizontally to create a public zone to the north and the school zone to the south. Classrooms on the west side are smaller in scale to reflect the neighboring context and the play space acts as a buffer between the two sides of the site with the library floating above as an object.
