| Project Intent Jun Tanaka Clustering creates a program strategy that helps organize the diverse elements. An urban strategy is employed on the Vermont side of the site to hold the street edge, while entry is organized off of the busy street to the north.
Co-Use Program
The public elements of of the school are secondary to the classroom clusters. Two separate entrances are provided for maximum security and efficiency. The primary entrance is more private and school specific for use by school personel, students and deliveries. The secondary entrance is mainly for the public where people outside the school can enter and have controlled access to the cluster elements.
