The Apollo 13 Dialogue D2
An introduction to this dialogue: This dialogue is an excerpt from the Apollo 13 mission transcript (not the movie.) The participants are designated individuals: the Command Module Pilot (CMP) in the spacecraft and the Capsule Communicator (CC) on earth. The major, life threatening explosion in this mission has already happened, and the whole team has been through many hours of strenuous but generally unemotional emergency response.
Features of this dialogue and its analysis: The analysis shows that a large amount of attention is being given to precise, clear communication without errors. Finding three uses of the Clarification Seeking Game in such a short dialogue is very unusual. Acknowledgement is used a lot as well.

The dialogue source: A full transcript of the Apollo 13 mission dialogue was provided by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in about 1976.
