The required textbook for this course is "Investments" by Bodie, Kane, and Marcus. Note that the 7th and 8th editions are both acceptable for the course, as they are almost identical. The only significant difference I could find is that the 8th edition includes a new chapter on tailoring investment portfolios to individuals' specific needs. We will not cover this chapter in the course. You can buy the 8th edition in the USC bookstore for about $150, but my suggestion would be to get a used copy of the 7th edition online. As of July 8, 2009, you can get one for about $25 on Amazon.
