Kimberly Ann Elliott is a Research Fellow at the Institute for International Economics and at the Center for Global Development, both in Washington, DC. She is the author or co-author of numerous books and articles on a variety of trade policy and globalization issues, much of it focusing on the uses of economic leverage in international negotiations. She has taught a course on economic negotiation at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and in 2002-2003, served on the National Academies Committee on Monitoring International Labor Standards. In 1999, she chaired the Task Force on Civil Society of the State Department Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy.
