Christer Jönsson has been a Professor of Political Science at Lund University since 1989. His field of specialization is International Politics. Professor Jonsson's main research interests are international negotiation, diplomacy and the role of transnational networks in international cooperation. His current research project concerns the Essence of Diplomacy (in collaboration with Martin Hall, funded by the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation).
