This program is intended to implement a test to detect mitochondrial DNA mutation involvement. The details of the methodology as well as the correct citation for this program are as follows: Sun FZ, Cui J, Gavras H, and Schwartz F. Am. J. Hum. Genet. 72 (2003) pp. 1515-1526. This program is written in C and can be compiled using standard compilers. Furthermore, each step of the program is well documented.
