The Internet Mission Photography Archive(IMPA) is a Getty funded international collaborative effort to create a central digital collection of Mission photographs taken in the field between 1850 and World War II. Project collaborators include USC's Center for Religion and Civic Culture, the Day Missions Library at Yale University, the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America at Maryknoll, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, the Norwegian Missionary Society in Stavanger, the Leipzig Mission, and the Moravian Church at Herrnhut. The digital archive will be available via USC's Archival Research Center.
