Biographical information for Sylvia Sensiper
Sylvia Sensiper is an experimental image maker working at the boundaries and
intersections of multiple medias, combining experience as an academic
researcher, media producer, ethnographic filmmaker and photographic artist.
She currently works as the Multimedia Producer at Harvard Business School
creating web-based teaching cases on business issues and challenges.
Sensiper's research interests include the use of visual and interactive
media, visual anthropology, and distance learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Public
policy and Social Research from UCLA and a Masters in Visual Anthropology from USC.
Her visual projects includes the award-winning Films are Dreams that
Wander in the Light of Day, a visual critique of ethnographic film, Intersections, a
photo essay on the neighborhoods of South Central Los Angeles, and numerous HBS
web-based cases.
