Lei Li is an Associate Professor of Molecular and Computational Biology and Mathematics. He got his bachelor in Mathematics from Peking University, Masters in Probability and Statistics from Peking University, and PhD in Statistics from University of California, Berkeley. He worked in the Department of Statistics at Florida State University from 1998 to 2002. From 2002. he joined the Computational Biology group at USC.
His research centers around the mathematical and statistical modeling of biological problems. This concerns the following three aspects: biological meanings, algorithmic implementation, and asymptotic justification.
