Instructions for Editing the Wiki Editable Bibligraphy:
The wiki page lists papers in the area of Stochastic Network Optimization. It is
intended for use by researchers and practitioners in the maths and sciences,
particularly those in the area of communications and networks. You are encouraged
to update this page regularly by adding new papers in the area (with
a brief description of the context and contribution of the paper).
You are also encouraged to update/fix any typos or broken links that may exist.
Disclaimer: The wiki page
is an open access page. It is intended for use by students, faculty, and researchers
and practitioners
in the maths and sciences, particularly those in the areas of communications and networks.
The University of Southern California, the creators of this webpage, and the authors listed in the
editable bibliography, are not responsible for any inaccurate or inappropriate material that is
posted.
Instructions:
1. The editable bibliography page is
here: Editable
Bibilography Wiki Page. This also has a comments page for posting any feedback or
comments (accessible by a link near the
top of the wiki page).
2. If you are a first-time user and would like to edit the page,
you will be asked to register. Registration
is automatic and should take less than 1 minute.
You will be prompted to provide your name and email address,
and you will then be provided automatic access. The registration
allows us to know who is editing the page. This is a mild security
feature to protect against inappropriate material (such as advertisements
for prescription drugs, etc.)
3. This page uses the Dokuwiki software. This is powerful but is
also sometimes confusing. Unfortunately the "Playground" link does
not seem to work properly, as it takes you to a read-only page (I
don't know why, and I don't know how to fix it).
4. Be careful when you edit!
5. The wiki editor is sensitive to carriage returns.
Thus, it is often best to type everything in a continuous
line. Carriage returns in the middle of a sentence will
produce strange results when you "preview" the edits.
6. Use the "Preview" button to see how your edits will affect the page.
Just keep editing until the preview is what you want, and then
click "Save" to incorporate the changes into the wiki page.
7. The way to start an item with a bullet is to put the item on its own line,
indent 2 spaces and put a * right before the text. The way to start a new
line without Dokuwiki making a new "paragraph" (which is weird) is to use //. You can
see examples of correct format in the editable page itself. You will also see
examples of how to include links
(to list a link you type [[http://the_web_address|the link name]]).
You can link to places on the web where your papers/slides are stored.
8. Contact: This page is managed by Mike Neely and his students. You can email
mjneely at usc dot edu.
