SKILLS

Computer

Large scale parallel numerical computation on distributed-/shared-memory Linux clusters using Fortran77/90, C/C++ and Python with the Message Passing Interface (MPI). Most of my parallel computing experience was acquired at the hpc cluster in University of Southern California. This Linux cluster has about 2000 CPUs and is ranked among the seven top academic supercomputers in the world.

Software packages: Seismic Unix, Seismic Analysis Code (SAC), Generic Mapping Tools (GMT), Matlab, Latex, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)

Platforms: Unix (SUN), Linux, MS-DOS, Windows 98/2000/NT/XP, Macintosh

Languages

Bilingual in English and Mandarin
