Minutes of Kaohsiung Annual Forum

Greetings,

Here are the minutes for Pacific Rim Council on Urban Development (PRCUD)’s tenth Annual Conference that was held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on 27-30 September 1998. The theme of the conference was "Rebuilding City Systems: Conglomeration, Cooperation, Competition Among Asia-Pacific Cities". For the first time the Annual Conference was based around a Professional Visit rather than a conference per se. We would like to thank PRCUD Kaohsiung Chapter and Kaohsiung City Government for their exceptional effort in organizing the Annual Conference in Kaohsiung.

PRCUD Kaohsiung Report will be mailed to you free of charge soon. This in-depth report will provide a summary of Council members’ assessments of the development constraints and opportunities of Kaohsiung, based on three days of intensive meetings and professional site visits.
