FINAL PROJECTS

 

All students

  1. An in-class Powerpoint presentation of your project on April 25
  2. The presentation should have the following parts
    1. definition of the problem
    2. review of the literature – from 1 to 3 pieces of research with the salient points of the work identified. Explain how this work leads to your analysis.
    3. Description of data and research design – discuss both the strengths and  limitations
    4. Data analysis – show tables in slides

1.      descriptive statistics

2.      bivariate

3.      and if applicable multivariate

                  e.   Conclusions and directions for further research

   

Undergraduates

        Final black and white copies of  Powerpoint slides due no later than May 9

 

Graduate students

        Turn Powerpoint presentation into a paper of approximately ten pages, a research note, with the same organization as the slides but with more explanation about earlier work and your findings. Due no later than May 9.
