From the USC University Park Campus

We are located just north of Taper Hall (THH), and are listed on campus maps as UUC (older maps may say UMC).

From the Community

We are located at the intersection of Hoover and Jefferson, across the street from the Denny's and the Hillel Jewish Center. The front of the church faces into the USC campus; the parking lot and back of the church are visible from Jefferson. We are the tall, red brick building with a Spanish tile roof.

Entering the Parking Lot

Please consult the map at the bottom of the page. The entrance to the parking lot is located exactly at the intersection of Hoover and Jefferson. Do not confuse UUC parking lot with USC Lots M and B, which are located along Jefferson to the West and East of our lot, respectively.

Approach the parking lot by going South on Hoover, towards Jefferson. Merge into the right-most left turn lane, which is also a straight-through lane. Continue through the intersection and into the parking lot via the RIGHT SIDE of the driveway (i.e. the part WITHOUT the security arm).

To leave the parking lot, insert a token into the security arm box to raise the arm (tokens are available from the Church Office; parking for all UUC events is free). You may pull forward up to the curb; the arm will not close until you have left. When it is your turn to go, the traffic light will blink red for a few seconds. Drive through the intersection, going North on Hoover. When the traffic light has ceased blinking, do not attempt to cross the intersection.

Alternative Parking

You may park on the USC campus for Sunday Worship services. Enter at Gate #5, at the intersection of Jefferson and McClintock Ave. Tell the gate attendant that you are attending church at UUC and he/she will give you instructions on where to park. There is metered parking along Jefferson and its adjoining side streets; some meters are free on Sundays.
