Professor Yaniv Konchitchki's research interests are
in the implications of financial reporting for the capital market. He is particularly interested in how equity
asset prices are affected by financial information such as inflation,
exchange rates, analyst forecasts, announcements of superior knowledge
management, and earnings transparency.
His recent research projects have examined how the quality of
financial information affects firms’ cost of capital, and the economic
consequences of inflation in a nominal financial reporting environment. Yaniv received his PhD from Stanford
University in 2007. Before receiving
his PhD, Yaniv worked for several years as a Senior Financial Consultant and
as a CPA in public accounting for PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as a Senior
Expert for the Securities Authority. CLICK
