The USC SLA Group
Welcome to the official webpage for the Second Language Acquisition
(SLA) group at USC Linguistics! Our goal is to
determine what kind of grammars are acquired by second
language learners. We investigate SLA of
particular aspects of the grammar, paying attention to such factors as
L1-transfer, learners’ age, and universal features/processes. For more
